Junior Software Engineer (m/f/d) – Backend / Fullstack (.NET / C#)

Your mission

As a Junior Software Engineer, you contribute to the development of a new, strategically important web-based product within the myneva portfolio. You work hands-on on backend and selected fullstack components, delivering reliable and maintainable software solutions within a modern engineering environment.
You collaborate closely with your team, product management, and UX to implement features in a professional, international product context. In this role, you take ownership of your assigned components and apply established engineering practices - including the responsible use of AI-supported development tools - to deliver high-quality results.
Your Responsibilities

• You implement backend and selected fullstack components using .NET / C#.
• You contribute to API development and service integration within a modular system landscape.
• You implement reliable data access and persistence patterns.
• You contribute to feature implementation and selected end-to-end functionality.
• You use AI-assisted development tools to support coding, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
• You critically review and validate AI-generated outputs.
• You contribute to code quality through automated testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• You collaborate closely with engineers, product management, and UX.

Your profile

• You have initial professional experience in backend or fullstack development using .NET / C#.
• You have practical experience working with APIs and modular software systems.
• You have hands-on experience with databases and understand data persistence fundamentals.
• You are able to work independently on clearly defined tasks and components.
• You value clean code, automated testing, and security basics.
• You are comfortable using modern development tools, including AI-supported tools.
• You enjoy working in a collaborative, international team environment.
• You communicate confidently in English (C1 level); German skills are a plus.
